First day of second week of The Art & Science of Drawing. This day was all about discovering new ways to express a line, how people relate to lines and marks emotionally and psychologically and experimenting with line quality.

Assignment

  • fill up 3 pages of 18x24" with an ever-changing line
  • select 3 to 6 lines from the previous projects that you like most and replicate them neatly on another sheet of paper, as in the class demonstration

  • koh-i-noor sepia stick
  • vine charcoal chips
  • derwent artists phthalo blue
  • flip-chart and wrapping paper
